New Day, New Blog

I had the strangest experience this morning. I was in the middle of this really crazy intense dream about one of my buddies getting into a fight at a club. Then next thing I know I am staring at this grungy wall.

It took me about 3 seconds before I realized, "Oh wait. My eyes are open, and I am awake now. I'm not dreaming anymore."

Damn Bacardi...

Anyhow, I made a decision that today was going to be an awesome day. Yesterday is over, so today will be a great day no matter what damn it. Because I said so! That's why!

One day Everything Goes Wrong

Ever have one of those days when everything goes wrong? One bloody thing after another?

Yep. You name it and it probably went wrong for me today. Bad meetings....missed opportunities...regrets and regrets of regrets.....blah

Thank goodness I have the three ingredients to make all things better: Bacardi, Coke, and a giant empty Carlsberg pitcher.

Being Beijing

Just a quick post before I hit the sack tonight. I just got back from Beijing last night and I have to say I had the best time ever. It was the most awesome mix of traditional and modern culture ever! I saw some great historical places and saw some really cool live culture too. I'll have more to say about it later, but for now I thank my buddies in Beijing that made my trip so memorable. Kick ass!

ADDENDUM: I just Cracked

It's just a few hours before I have to get up for my flight to Beijing and I can't sleep. I cracked a couple of hours ago. I have shitty neighbours who think it is perfectly all right to slam their doors every fifteen minutes late at night. Everytime I neared blissful unconsciousness some git banged their bloody door! I cracked. I stormed out of my room and into the hallway and shouted, "Who the F**K is making all that goddam noise?! You sonavabitch!!". I was so ready to kick some ass, even though I probably would have been evicted the next day.

Things went deadly silent for awhile but it didn't last long.

So now I feel bad because I lost my temper just now...and I have a craving for soft boiled eggs with a splash of soy sauce and french bread to boot!
